Hello ECA Ladies,
We have just completed our first week of homework for our current study; A Woman's Heart, God's Dwelling Place. What a powerful lesson seeing the call and invitation to tabernacle with God all the way from the Garden of Eden through the Exodus. I want to encourage you to keep up with your homework, remember you get out of it what you put into it! One of the "stand out" items was seeing how God preached to Abraham, sharing with him the "good news" that is to come. Then Beth shares with us the close association between kneeling and receiving a blessing. Bottom line, God can bless and use a humble heart and willing spirit.
I shared with all our groups this week about my experience when we attended the dedication of Pastor Jenkin's new facility. One of the deacon's expressed his overwhelming gratitude as he held up a saucer and said, "Pastor, we are drinking from the saucer because our cups are filled to overflowing." It was a powerful moment and a great take home thought for me. I want to savor the moments of overflow instead of so quickly moving on.
I encourage you as well to savor all that God has put into your life, so that He can equip you for all that is yet to come!
Lovingly,
Cheryl Jamison

Where Are You?
Dear Friends,
I have just completed the introduction portion of our new study, "A Woman's Heart, God's Dwelling Place". The opening question is in reference to God pursuing Adam and Eve in the garden and his question to them of "Where are you?” Beth Moore turns the question on us and asks the same as God is pursuing each of us to the "whatever it takes" level of life. I am praying for each of you, I am praying for myself; that God will do a new and fresh thing in each of our lives as we take the next 11 weeks to pursue Him as He calls us to. I want to encourage you to not let anything knock you off track of this discipline. If you fall behind, pick yourself up and begin again. Know that there will be every distraction possible coming your direction, but if you press through you will be rewarded greatly with a new level of "Knowing God"! I am so thankful for each of you.
Please feel free to post your thoughts in response to the introduction and even your hopes for the next 11 weeks as we journey together. Remember that this blog is open to all of our women in this study from different groups, so be prepared to hear from a new friend that isn't in your small group or even your large group, but a part of our ECA family. May the Lord open our minds so that we may understand scripture!
My love and prayers are with you!

Welcome
Dear ECA Ladies,
I am excited to welcome you to a new area of ministry that is an extension of our Ladies Bible Study. This Blog is to create a forum where all of our groups can communicate together as one larger group and bring our bible study experience into a larger setting. Each week I will create a new blog that will reflect on this week's video and last week's lesson. You will have the ability to post a comment after each week's blog and share what your comments on the same week's lesson. I would ask that you keep your comments on topic with the study. If you have a prayer request or an item you need assistance with the best place for that would be through our ecaonline.org web site. I am really excited for us to take our study to a global level! My prayer is that God will take each of us to a new level of commitment, discipleship and friendship with God and with each other.
All My Best to You!
